DH brought up a good point yesterday, something I hadn't thought about. He is taking 2 weeks off work after the baby is born. Baby will be sleeping in a PNP in our room in the beginning. When DH goes back to work, he sets his alarm for 5:30, is the alarm going to wake up the baby every morning? That will really suck! I guess I could always move LO into her room but that seems too soon. What are you guys doing? Any suggestions?

Re: DH going back to work and alarm clock ?
Baby will be in his room from day 1 because I can't go to sleep without the TV on and usually it is on all night so I don't want him to be awake because of the TV.
We had DD#1 in a PNP in our room for about a week and then moved her to her crib in the nursery. If I remember correctly, DD#2 slept in her room from the first night we brought her home (though she had previously spent 10 days in the NICU). We are in a new house now and the nursery is literally the room right next to ours so as far as I can see it, DS will be sleeping in his room from the get go. I kind of thought about having him in our room for the first week or so since it's so difficult for me to get out of bed after the c-section but I think I'm just going to make it work with him next door in the nursery.
Can your DH set the alarm on his phone and use a quieter tone? Either way, if he shuts it off quickly and doesn't let it drone on, I think baby will probably sleep through it.

DD slept in a PNP in our room for the first month and DH went back to work after taking off 1 week. DH worked an early shift so the alarm would go off at 5:00am and I don't recall it ever waking her up. Most often, I was already up feeding her so it wasn't a problem.
