Sippy Cup Recs Needed - Quick!

Hi ladies!

Want to purchase a non-toxic sippy for a first bday party using my Prime on Amazon (party on Sat....oops). I was going to go with the Kleen Kanteen 12oz sippy and thought I would see if anyone has other suggestions? I want non-leaching, so either good quality stainless or maybe even silicone?

Any quick suggestions?  Preferrably non-leaking spout (and not a straw).

 TIA!

  • does nalgene make a stainless cup? i don't want plastic, even bpa-free, that could potentially leach other chemicals.

    thanks!

  • thanks for the help, lots of them actually come with silicone nipples/spouts and no plastic that touches the liquid (perhaps just a plastic ring holding the nipple onto the container).

  • imagelachute:
Nalgene. All the way. Made in America, bpa free does not leak easy to clean.

these are great. I got 2 kleen kanteens and the avent spout leaks, so if you go with them, get the sport spout

  • I am really excited to try the Eco Vessel since I found out that the Kleen Kanteen leaked when one of the cap types was one (I can't remember which one).  I also like that the Eco Vessel is double wall insulated so that it doesn't sweat and keeps drinks colder for longer.

I also came across the Contigo Autoseal cup that looked interesting too.

I have not tried either one but am thinking about getting the Eco Vessel to try for an upcoming roadtrip. Both are on an Amazon Prime free shipping too!

  • Oops...didn't see the part about the no staw.  How about the insulated sippy cup?  It's also double wall insulated and free prime shipping.

  • I liked the EIO cup

Its not for a 1 year old though.  I got it for DD when she was around 1 1/2 and she learned to drink a real cup faster.

  • thanks ladies! I like these suggestions, I worry about the lifefactory being too heavy.... might be ok though?  I might try one of the eco vessels for my twins actually!

if anyone else has suggestions or reviews on these please lmk, I will be in the market for my twins as well....

I'll check the contigo out too - I have their coffee mugs and water bottles, but I am not sure they'll be able to press in the button to release the liquid. my friend actually works for them and designs their products : )

(I ordered the kleen kanteen for the gift)

  • A bit late, but we have a Camelback stainless steel cup (insulated)- it has a silicone spout and can be used with a straw or not. It works well though is a little hard for DS to drink from, but I think other kids could easier (he never did bottles very well, but does great with an open cup). He actually uses straws much better than sippies.
  • We like the camelback and thermos
