Some kind of sort of great news I just got!!!

So my DH's uncle calls tonight and mind you I have never met him, He says he was reading back on my post on FB and something came to mind to him....

 

 He remembers when he was a child he had an uncle that acted just like DD2 and has alot of the same symptoms and issues that DD2 has now! Now DH's own mother has told me repeatedly that nothing like this has ever been in her family and that it CLEARLY WAS MY OWN FAMILY!!!! Ha dont mean to gloat right now but come one this whole time we could have a DX but since she wanted it pin it on me and my family it has delayed, Now I know this doesnt mean that its gonna be the same and I still have to contact some other family memebers but I just might be on to something.... maybe its not PDD or ASD, Maybe its something Genetic or I can be wrong all together but atleast someone is willing to talk and finally help us out :-)

    This may be a controversial response, but your post makes me really sad.

    The blame game doesn't ever have a winner.

    EXACTLY!  Blame is not going to get you anywhere--but divorced and unhappy.  I would be LIVID if my DH was on a message board celebrating that it wasn't "his" family that "caused" these problems.  Instead of gloating about who's "fault" this all is or isn't, I'd focus on getting my child to the appropriate specialists who can help her.

    Its was not about gloating as I thought I had stated on the op... But I am also not blaming either! I am stating that Drs have been asking for 2 years if there has been ANY family history of anything like whats going with her...... I really dont think it will help but its the fact that she never would help! its just a little push that I needed, and Im actually GLAD that he said something, he is not out to get his sister he was there because he wasnt sure if she had told me about him! Im sorry if you all took this the wrong way but it was never ment to go that way! 

    I am basically learning all about this and doing all of this my self! My husbands mother really feels I am the cause of all of DD's 2 issues, I know its not really the case but I am in this long hall by myself... As far as my DH well he sides with me because he knows how she is towards me there is nothing I can do to change how she feels about me but with his uncle saying this to me, it gave me a glimmer of hope that someone out there on my DH's side really does care!!!!

    Again I am sorry if you all took it the wrong way!
