Anybody NOT having horrible nausea?

This is my 2nd pregnancy.  I'm almost 5 weeks, and my nausea hasn't been that bad.  My DS is almost 8, so it's been a while since my last PG, but I remember feeling LOTS of nausea in my 1st trimester.  Maybe it came on later....

I have sore breasts, but I also have symptoms I didn't have before: cramping (which DR said was OK since I'm not bleeding) serious nasal congestion, and headache (constant!).

The lack of nausea is worrying me a bit...but I had two quantitative HCG's within a couple of days and the numbers were normal.  I guess I should consider myself lucky.

Or prepare myself for the worst that's yet to come.  Yikes!

Re: Anybody NOT having horrible nausea?

  • Well, last time my m/s didn't kick in until I was 6 weeks.  So though I hope you are lucky and don't get it, it still may be coming! So yep, be prepared.

  • I am 5 weeks today and have not had any nausea, but this is my first pregnancy and so I don't really know what to expect. I have heard that the nausea kicks in about 6 weeks so I am trying to prepare.

I have had a headache, but that is due to the weather moving in and allergies, I think.

  • I'm 7 weeks and I feel pretty good.  No nausea, although I do feel bloated and my breasts are very sore.

This.  I was one of the lucky ones and didn't have m/s with DS so, knock on wood, I'm hoping that stays true of this pregnancy too!

  • I didn't have nausea at all last time (past the week I got my BFP). This time, I have it a lot worse. It's annoying to hear, but all PGs are different, even your own. Even the things I am craving are way different from my DS!

GL! I hope you don't get any m/s!

    This exactly.

  • Nope, not yet.  I expect it next week though.

  • I'm 6 weeks today and I've had some waves of nausea here and there but nothing too too bad- hopefully it stays that way.  I will say that my nasal congestion and bloating has been bad, but I'll take that over m/s any day.

  • So far, so good here! This is my 3rd, and I didn't have morning sickness with my other two, but you never know. It is still early, so I am crossing my fingers! Right now I just have sore breasts, and a cold, which is unrelated, but sucks!

  • Before 6 weeks, I had a couple small bouts of nausea - then when 6 weeks hit, so did M/S with full force.  It has barely let up the last week.

  • I've heard the threat of 6 weeks multiple times now, so who knows what's coming... But so far I feel really good. I feel a little cramping almost constantly, and a bit of bloating, but that's it. Crossing my fingers it stays that way :)
  • I'm not having horrible nauseous and I'm about 5 weeks as well. I have had the constant headache though. Honestly I still don't really feel pregnant yet, it hasn't really set in, but I am excited.

I didn't think lack of nausea was something to worry about? Every pregnancy even for the same woman is different symptom wise, right?

  • I've only experienced light waves of nausea and I am 6 weeks.  Hopefully, m/s passes me by...lol.

  • I am 6 weeks, but, I am having waves of nausea throughout the entire day- it doesnt go well with being extremely tired;/ I am hoping it follows my last pregnancy and only sticks around for a couple of weeks!

Maybe, just maybe you will not have that "symptom"

  • In my last pregnancy, weeks 6-8 were HORRIBLE. I couldn't eat anything but plain Cheerios and fruit. I think I maybe took in 500 calories a day. Lost 10 lbs in 2 weeks.

This time around, I am feeling pretty good. A little bit of nausea if I let my stomach get too empty, but not nearly as bad as last time.

I am so thankful Big Smile
