Re: Anyone else gone through IVF/FET at Mayo Clinic in Rochester?
Hi! First of all, I want to let you know that I understand how hard it is to go through some of the struggles you have gone through to conceive. I don't think people understand until they have been through it.
In all honesty, I went through the RE department at Mayo Clinic and have mixed feelings. To make a long story long, I was able to conceive on my own April 2010. Unfortunately we miscarried at 12 weeks. We TTC for several months to no avail. Finally decided that December to see RE. After countless tests, surgery (I had a uterine septum), it was decided that I had decreased ovarian reserve. My follicle count was 2. We attempted IVF once, but I didn't stimulate so my cycle was cancelled. I was told after one failed attempt that I wouldn't be able to have children without using a donor egg.
That was April 2011 and we were able to get pregnant on our own August 2011! So never give up and take everything you hear with a grain of salt!
Good luck.
