help! make it stop

my hair continues to fall out and is so thin..what is going on?

Re: help! make it stop

  • Have you had your thyroid checked? It's normal to lose some hair post-partum, but if it's still going on and you're on 9-12, it might be something more than normal hair loss. Usually once your baby's 9 months old, the majority of the hair falling out stuff should be done with.

  • Mine's still coming out, too.  Mostly in my son's fist when he pulls at it, but there's still more than normal in my hairbrush.  I'm starting to get concerned.

  • I agree w/ PP about getting your thyroid checked. It's very possible it's slightly off after pg and can be controlled on medication for a short time until it becomes normal again.
