Pregnant after IF

I need to lurk less and post more

I've introduced myself before, but I've been lurking for the past few weeks because I'm too afraid to get too invested into the pregnancy. I really need to change that, so I'm going to try and post more often.

I'm 10 weeks 3 days pregnant as the result of IVF #1 (after 2 yrs of secondary infertility with tons of IUIs and an ectopic/cervical pregnancy). EDDis 9/7/12.

I had a subchorionic hematoma earlier in this pregnancy that produced bad bleeding at week 7 and week 9 (which resulted in bedrest last week).  My ultrasound today showed that the hematoma is no longer there and the baby has a strong heartbeat.

Congrats to all of you on your pregnancies and I look forward to getting to know you over the next 30 weeks. :)

  • You sound like me :) I'm due at the same time, and I have had my sch since the middle of my 6th week. Mine hasn't fully resolved yet, so I'm enjoying my partial bed rest a bit longer. I also got pregnant from our first IVF after just a few IUIs. I'm just waiting for the other shoe to drop sometimes, like going for the next appt the baby just won't be there. I know where you're coming from!

  • I also had a SCH which disappeared.  It was confirmed on my 11 week u/s.  Hopefully you feel more comfortable posting now!  I totally understand where you are coming from.
