He's been awful good this week and he even put away all that laundry from last week but...he flosses his teeth outside of the bathroom. He does it in the in the kitchen, in the hall, in the livingroom everywhere...He is a fanatical flosser which is good, just do it in the bathroom.
I thought since it's V day I'd go easy on him. Here's mine:
DH still doesn't know where to find all the baby supplies (burp cloths, blankets, jammies, etc.) If I him to bring me something, without missing a beat, DH will ask, "Where is it?"
Yes dear, I skipped my first class so I could finish the project due in my second class, but no, you go play harmonica in the backyard leaving the baby with me, even though it's your regularly scheduled alone time with her. And yes, thanks for doing it out of earshot of anycries so you "don't bother me."
MH has been pretty sweet this week and gave me flowers this morning, but he did wake up the baby the other night. I turn on this heater in our room when LO first goes down just to have some ambient noise. MH went to check on him and decided to fiddle with the heater and turn it down (it beeps every time you hit a button). He turned it so low that it turned off so he turned it back on higher (beep, beep, beep). A few seconds later, LO is crying! I picked him up and gave him to MH to get back to sleep. "What do you think is wrong with him?" DH asked. "You woke him up with the beeping!" "Oh! I didn't even think of that!" Sheesh....

Can this be mine too? As many times as I review with him where all of her stuff is, he still has no clue.
Also, he still hasn't bought me a Valentine's Day card. I think we're going to end up stopping at a drugstore on the way home from work tonight so he can get one.
I'm just jealous he gets to sleep in a hotel for three nights without being woken up by the baby! It's work so I can't actually fault him for it but still.

I found cigarette butts in the garage last night. I'm waiting to see what he has planned for today before I decide whether to kill him or just maim him.
My husband is sick and I feel bad for him but dd is sick too and she is dealing with the cold better then he is. He is the worst sick person ever. Oh and he keeps blowing his nose and just throwing the tissue on the floor..But I guess that is an improvement since DD came along! He use to just use his sleeve or whatever was laying around, so gross!

This (except the go easy part). He actually bitched me out today because there wasn't a pacifier in his car seat (despite the fact that my OCD self has had at least 2 spare pacifiers in his diaper bag since leaving the hospital). He called me at work (where I was in the middle of something that needed to be done NOW) to ask me where the pacifiers were. He hasn't done even 1 thing around the house since his last work day (not even cleaning up after his slobby self) and he made me spend time with his friend yesterday, who I cannot stand. Thanks for letting me vent. I thought I was the only one who had a big fat pile of resentment for her SO.
I am so pissed off right now. I legitimately tried to do something nice for dh - baked cookies to deliver to his work for him and his coworkers - and he has the nerve to be pissed at me?! I don't even want to go into the details but I seriously want to tell him to go f.uck off and not even come home tonight. I seriously cannot believe what an ass he's being over this.
July 20th, 2012: Never forget the day the fb douchebags tried so hard, but ultimately failed. Viva la October 2011! Yeah, I called you douchebags.

DH has been on pretty.good behavior the past few days. Except he caught me hiding his vday present and said 'oh i didn't know we were doing presents.'. I woke up to a card that I'm pretty sure was the last card in the store. At least he got one for me?

DH loves LBB. When he's home he wants to be holding LBB the entire time. In fact, on the weekends, LBB does all his naps on DH because DH doesn't want to put him down.
The problem is, DH has a bladder the size of a 4 year old girl. So basically, 10 minutes after LBB falls asleep, DH has to go to the bathroom. And so he wakes the baby up trying to transfer him somewhere so he can go and the whole nap process starts over again.
My DH had the nerve to say to me this weekend that he always has to take care of the baby when he gets home from work. Now, I work at the local school watching kids before and after school. I wake up at 5:30 (If I am not already up with DS), work 6 to 8, come home and take DH to work, do my running, come home, do laundry, clean house (mainly DH's mess), shower, get ready for work and leave for work at 2:30, all while taking care of DS, then I work till 5:30. Another thing, I work with 20 to 50 school kids ages 6 to 12. DH sits at a computer all day. So yes Mommy needs a break when she gets home. The only reason he said that is because his precious xbox stopped working. Which leads to another thing, he bought a new xbox!!! Our money is very tight but he can get a new xbox... I really hate the xbox.
I've been sick for a week and took yesterday & today off of work. DH took today off of work because of a "sore neck" and then went on to play a stupid video game all day. After I dropped LO off at daycare (I'm sick I need to rest) I stopped at Dunkin Donuts and got us both breakfast, I gave him his Vday cards & he said - oh I was going to pick up a card for you after work today... So nothing for me this vday.
I've had one saved since last week. We suddenly decided to do our trip to South Africa next month instead of in July, so we had to hurry up and apply for a passport for Lily and it's faster to do in person than by mail, but the closest office is 2.5 hours away. So we decided all this last Monday, got her pictures done on Tuesday and on Wednesday Lily and I drove to apply for it, spend the night at my parents, then drive back on Thursday. DH wasn't working until 11, so he said that we'd both get up early, he'd deal with Lily and help me pack so we could get on the road by 9. I woke up, fed Lily and left her with DH while I showered. He slept with her next to him. I packed, fed the cats, double checked the application, etc. He slept with her next to him. He did finally get up and get her dressed and in the carseat, but we clearly have different ideas of what "help pack" means.
