Uh, we've only been "trying" for 4 weeks and I got a positive test this morning! I can't believe it! Last time, it took over a year and I had to get some polyps removed. The only reason I was taking a test was b/c I haven't had a period in 6 weeks and was ruling out pregnancy before calling the dr. for an ultrasound to see if the polyps are back.
DH is going to be so excited! Even though he's been joking that he hopes we don't get pregnant for at least 3 months because he deserves that long to "work on it"
Is there any way the test could be wrong? Should I wait to tell him until I get a couple more positives? That's what I did last time.
And if I tell him.... Okay, it's Valentine's Day. What is a cute way of doing it? Should I get DD a "big sis" shirt today? Give me cute ideas!
Re: AHHHHHH! I can't believe it!
Yay, congrats! From what I've read false positives don't really happen, you're pregnant!!!
My only announcement idea isn't terribly inspired, but you could give him a Valentine from the baby.

I'd go to B askin R o bbins and get a sweetheart ice cream cake. Not a cake that says "Be Mine," but just a sweet heart-shaped cake to celebrate the new little heart that will be joining the family.
Yum, ice cream cake!
