  • Boil chicken, remove from water, put it in your mixer with the paddle attachment. Voila! It's like magic, I don't want to think about how much time I used to waste shredding with two forks by hand.

  • I just shredded the chicken from KA's tacos for enchiladas. 

     Warm chicken and just a few seconds for coarse, longer for finer :)

  • Just be careful not to run it too long - the first time I ended up with KA chicken taco mush...
  • Y'all must not cook your KA tacos as long as I do. All I do is give a few quick stirs with a wooden spoon and the breasts break apart instantly.

  • I agree with you guys - when I'm making chicken in the crock pot (KA tacos, for example) then I don't need to use the mixer either.

    I mostly use it when I boil plain chicken breasts and then shred for things like enchiladas, buffalo chicken dip or soup.

    TELL ME MORE!! I've seen a few recipes out there but there's a huge variety in terms of ingrediants. What's your go-to recipe?

    The only thing I change is the chicken - canned chicken weirds me out for some reason, so I substitute boiled/shredded chicken.
