Friday was suppose to be a very exciting day. I was 10 weeks and going for my first appointment and ultrasound. Well, our baby only measured at 8 weeks and there was no heartbeat. I opted for the medicine to pass the pregnancy. It has been a painful couple of days. The doctor gave me percaset and ibuprofen. 

I feel completely lost. This was my first pregnancy. I took today and tomorrow off work. I'm still dealing with some cramps and bleeding and even still some clots. I am just not ready to go out into public. I feel like life should have stopped like mine just did. I'm a teacher and being around all of those teenagers sounds like torture right now. I just want this to get better.

    (((huge hugs)))) Im sorry for your loss. I was a teacher (I resigned last month) so I know what you mean about not wanting to be around all those kids right now. I hope it goes smoother than you think.

    BFP #1: 12/2009 m/c 1/2010 BFP #2: 6/2010 m/c 8/2010

    BFP #3: 10/2011 ectopic 11/2011 (right tube removed, learned left tube was probably nonfunctional due to scar tissue from infection after m/c)

    3 failed IUIs, IVF #1: 18R, 12M, 10F, 3 poor quality 5d embryos transferred= BFP #4!!!!!

    Betas: 9dp5dt: 64 ~14dp5dt: 91 (expecting miscarriage, doubling time of 236 hours) ~16dp5dt: 200~18dp5dt: 500

    First Ultrasound at 6w2d revealed two sacs, only one with a heartbeat

    LK arrived after 42 weeks on August 14, 2013! Beautiful, healthy, and happy!

    TTC#2: IVF booked for April 2015

    Surprise BFP#5 February 19, 2015 EDD: November 2, 2015

    Betas: 10dpo: 10, 14dpo: 77, 17dpo: 270

    First Ultrasound at 5w1d showed a miracle UTE baby! And right ovary ovulation to left fallopian tube.

    JD arrived at 38 weeks on October 20, 2015.

    TTC #3: Since October 2017. BFP #6 July 2, 2018 EDD: March 16, 2019 [/spoiler]

    Your story sounds just like mine, 9wks6dys I started bleeding, and US showed baby was 7.5wks sized.

    Im sorry for your loss. It's hard to go through the physical part. The emotional part isn't easy either. But as long as your family is around u, you'll be alright..at least that's what I keep telling myself

     I had a very similar experience. Went for my first appointment at just under 10 weeks and baby was measuring 7.5 weeks with no heartbeat. It is just completely devastating to have what was supposed to be a fun and exciting day turn out to be the complete opposite. I hope you start feeling better, T&P for you and your family.....

    im so sorry for your loss. i lost my baby this week, too. it is so devestating.

    DD1 born 5/24/10.

    Missed M/C at 14 wks Feb 2012.

    DD2 born 5/14/13.

    Missed M/C at 9 wks July 2015.

    Expecting someone new 4/17/17.

    I am so sorry for your loss. I am also a teacher and went back to work today after losing my baby on Friday. It was tough, but I found that I was okay while I was teaching the lesson because I was distracted and it was when I had down time that I started thinking about the loss and the tears came. This was my 1st pregnancy at 40 years old. Hang in there.

    I'm so sorry for your loss.  I'm glad to hear you're taking some time off for yourself.  With as demanding as our jobs are as teachers, you definitely need to take some time to heal before going back to work.  I'll be praying for you!

    BFP #3: 01/28/12, EDD: 09/23/12, MMC (BO), D&C 2/16/12 at 6.5 wks

    RPL Workup: + LPD (7DPO Prog = 7.8, Endometrial Bx = out of phase)
    Elevated Alpha 2-glycoprotein IgA and antiphosphatidylserine IgM -->
    Hematologist said not to worry and no need for treatment!

    Dx: LPD
    Cycle #1(08/2012): Clomid 50 mg CD3-7, Ovidrel CD13 + Progesterone = It worked!
    BFP #5 on 09/10/12 (11 DPO). HCG #1 @ 14DPO = 131.6 HCG #2 @ 16DPO = 509
