i have a stubborn butt down baby

and I'm running out of time for her to flip head down. So cue the c-section.

The docs keep saying there is still time for her to flip because she is tiny (on track but small), but I'm very doubtful that will happen at this point.

I was really hoping to avoid this with my surgical history but oh well. They are in the process of scheduling it now, but it is taking a little longer to make the arrangements because the doctors are already all booked, and I have to have two ob docs doing the surgery together (because of the scarring inside my abdomen), and I really don't want to have her on Feb. 29th. So hopefully I will find out the date tomorrow, but it looks like she will be arriving the week of Feb. 27th.

So just about two weeks left!

I am officially on maternity leave starting today and I am just trying to relax and keep myself occupied for the next two weeks. I am also having ob apts twice a week and weekly biophysical u/s (which she passed today with a perfect score!) and NSTs.

Can't believe it is getting so close now!

Have you tried the childs pose in yoga. It's supposed to help flip...at least thats what I heard.

A friend of mine had her baby flip the day before her c/s at 39w, so they cancelled the morning of the c/s and sent her home -- I guess it's never too late.

My acupuncturist said that having YH massage your pinkie toes can trigger baby to flip over. Might be worth a shot (and since it's Valentine's day, maybe he'll work it into a full-on foot massage? LOL)

DD flipped last minute also -- after her delivery they knew she had been breech for a while because of her legs...

so very exciting!

I'm right there with you...I have a stubborn butt down baby too. It's definitely not what I wanted or expected, but at least everything else is looking great for you. Good luck getting through the next two weeks, hope it goes by fast!
