DD uses the potty sometimes, though not with much regularity.
When did you start promoting the whole "wipe from front to back" thing? I haven't said anything to her because she's not coordinated enough to do it; I just try to wipe her before she does. I'm guessing at preschool they don't discuss it (yet) because I think she would have said something, or would be attempting it, if she had heard it before.
Thoughts?
Re: Moms of girls re: potty training
It's totally dawning on me that I have to learn to change a girl's diaper
I did it for the very first time in my life just yesterday when I went to visit a friend at the hosp who just had a baby.
Clearly I have no rec's for you, but this just totally popped into my head.
Although, for the record, you have to learn to change a boy (which I think is much easier than a girl!
)
girl diapers are definitely a lot more complicated than boy ones! (after the circumcision heals).
as for wiping, I started after she was already PTed. For pre-school, the kids cannot have help in the bathroom, they have to go themselves and wipe themselves. FWIW, at 3y4mo old, it's still something I have to reinforce every day.
