Pregnant after a Loss

Nursery is as ready as it'll ever be! (PIPs)

We just finished up the nursery this weekend and I finally have pics to share!  We didn't really go with a theme, but it is definitely a girly room.  We also managed to stay on a pretty tight budget and used a lot of hand-me-downs and things we already had.  My guess is that we spent under $200 on everything including the paint and the rug, although we didn't have to buy any furniture.

The crib and DH's "boy" dresser.  His great-grandma, who passed away when I was 6w pregnant at the age of 97, bought it for him when he was a baby.  The crib was gifted by my parents (DaVinci Jenny Lind).  The letters are from Land of Nod.  The matryoshka doll pillow won't stay when LO is in the crib, but I love it too much to take it out yet.  The little poof stool was a Christmas present to LO from my mom.

I had to AW my DIY shadowboxes. :)  I got the naked kewpie doll when my sister was born.

On the other side of the crib, there's a window and a little armoire, which is a hand-me-down from my sister.

Another AW: DIY bow garlands that hang on both windows.

The changing table was another gift from my parents and is on the wall between the door to the room and the closet.  I already had most of the bins, and lucked out by finding one more at a thrift store, new with the tags from Target, for $1.50.  The paper butterfly is from the gift shop in the hospital where I work.  The house hamper was mine when I was a little girl.

I hope you all like it!  I can't believe she is almost here!
