Anyone else not able to get back into their pre-pregnancy jeans/pants yet? I keep reading these posts about women who are back into their regular clothing 2-3 weeks PP. I have a neighbor who was back in her pre-pregnancy clothing 1 week PP and all she did was eat junk throughout her entire pregnancy!
As of right now I am only able to wear my pre-pregnancy yoga/jogging pants, leggings and more stretchy/longer tops. The weight is just coming off so slowly!
I gained approx. 40 lbs and started at a normal weight range for my height. I probably have about 15 lbs to go to get back to my pre-pregnancy weight. I guess I just assumed that by almost 3 months PP and EBF I would have bounced back by now. I am eating healthy and get out for walks with DD when the weather allows. I am hard pressed to find the time to devote to "working out" yet.
Anyone else in the same boat? I feel so frustrated!

yep..almost 6 weeks PP and still about 12 pounds to go - probably actually more since I have no muscle tone now. My stomach really pooches out still. I tried on my pre-pregnancy jeans and I could get into them but couldn't button them up. I think the belly fat will be the hardest to get rid of. I also had a c-section so I want my clothes to be comfortable - still wearing my yoga pants and my pregnancy jeans (which are fortunately fairly cute as long as I hide the elastic waist band.) I'll have to start some serious ab workout once I'm cleared by the OB.
I think patience and getting into a good routine with LO will be key.
Oh boy- no way. I gained 60 lbs like with my first (and had lost 15 right before I got pregnant so was at my lowest). I have lost 35 and have 25 to go. So depressing. I was looking for my clothes from my first maternity leave today. The shirts are so ugly and outdated- its been 3 years. I go back to work in 3 weeks so will buy some new tops. I have lots of pants from a few years ago that will fit.
My goal is to lose 6 more before I go back. I just started working out today and cutting calories last week and have seen a difference.
This was one of the hardest parts of being pregnant for me. Just before I got pregnant, about a year ago, I lost about 30 pounds, so gaining that back was hard to accept.
I just tried my old jeans on from before I lost the weight last year, and they fit in the legs but not even close in the waist... Looks like I'll still be rocking my maternity jeans that fit decently for a little while. My shirts seem to fit fine though, thankfully!
