Pregnant after IF

slow rising betas

currently in beta hell.

I got my BFP and my beta was 55, 72 hours later it was 99, 72 hours later from that it was 205.  I went in today for another beta and an ultrasound.  I haven't gotten my beta results back yet, but they didn't see anything.  They said it's not uncommon to not see anything yet, especially since I'm just 5 weeks exactly, but still doesn't make me feel any better.

I've read that you typically can't see anything till your beta is about 1500, and I'd expect my betas to be slightly lower than that, maybe 900 or so. At this point they're telling me I'm going to be in and out of the doctor's every couple days for more bloodwork and ultrasounds just to make sure it's not ectopic.  But really the beta today should at least let us know if it's leveling off, rising steadily, or has gone down.

Anyone start out slow? when did your betas really start to jump?  .

  • Low and slow all the way, but by 6 weeks we had a heartbeat! Check out my siggy!

Try not worry until there is really something to worry about... For now enjoy the BFP!!!!

Started TTC in 2006, LOTS of trying, and trying, and 7 rounds of IVF with 13 embryos, 2 perfect little boys and 5 loses....
All finished with babies, started to make diet changes, Keto, to be MORE for my kids, lost 30 pounds, still going, and 3 months in, I had a natural cycle, and then ovulated... Hubs and I are going to see what happens now... Maybe a natural pregnancy? After everything we have been through? Or just a return to normal hormones? We shall see what the future holds!
