I'm 37, but my pregnancy was hard! I'm getting more sleep now than I was while pregnant. However, it's definitely been a big adjustment emotionally, to have this little person completely dependent on me. No more doing whatever I want, whenever I want.
Just turned 37 this weekend. S/O joked about having had Happy 370th written on my cake, and there are days I feel that old, lol. He didn't, but made me laugh anyways! I BF and noticed that my knees hurt more and my ankles have also started to hurt. I'm not sure if it's regular "older mom" stuff, a part of aging, or a combo Keep up the good work ladies, and glad I'm not the only older mamma on this board

Ever feel like you're losing at everything? Ugh, today was one of those days. DS has reflux and we've been trying to find a medication to manage it since he was 2.5 weeks old. Headed to the pharmacy to pick up the latest "flavor of the week". While he was screaming I was trying to pump which I swear are two mutually exclusive events. Oh, and while all this was going on DD was running around screaming (with joy) while DS was screaming in pain. Some days I think I cry more than my little ones. Hoping we'll get his meds figured out soon so he can be a happy boy. Oh, and I turned 35 a month ago.
I'm 39, I sleep when she sleeps until I'm not tired anymore. It has been fine so far but she is my only one. If there was another one running around that would be another story. I'm hoping to know that feeling in a year;)
I think I have much more patience than I had 10 years ago, so I think I'm better off being an older Mom.

I'm 39 (how did that happen?) and am actually feeling pretty darn good. Went back to work last week and it's been nice to get back into the routine of things.
LO is much calmer now than he was 2 or 3 weeks ago and we are really enjoying how his little sense of humor is developing

Glad to know there are a few of us 35+ on the board! I'm 36 and feeling good for the most part. I think if I was younger, it would be easier to get back in shape but I couldn't imagine having a started a family 10+ years ago. I only wish that I didn't feel pressure to have another baby soon because the clock is ticking! I get envious of the younger moms who feel like they can wait a few years before trying for the next one. ;-)

Thanks for making me feel old! I'm 43 and trying to lose weight and get in shape so that I can keep up with my little one when he starts moving more. I have more patience than I did with my other two from 15+ years ago, but my body makes way more creaks and is much more tired.
Re: 35+ Mamas, how are you doing?
I feel older than my 35 years, that's for sure! These kids wear me out, and my body hurts all over!
One of my friends had her 1st at age 18, and her second just recently in her 30's. She says that it was much easier when she was younger.

Oh I love this thread! On my local board I'm an old lady!
I'm 35 and my back hurts
All of this! Oh it feels so much better to know I am not alone. I was really feeling guilty about it. I will be 37 in April.
