I absolutely love this bedding for my baby boy... I'm just debating on whether or not it is too expensive. I mean it's almost $400 just on the bedding but I would have to get the curtains, pillows, and all the accessories too.

What do you think of the bedding? I'm not into animals or trucks or sports themes.
And what about the price? Do you think I should invest the money in more practical items? This is my first LO.
Re: Baby Bedding... Help!
I think that bedding is very nice, but I would not spend that much on bedding, considering that is how much our crib was. Is there a few pieces that you can eliminate? For example, you could probably find sheets for way cheaper. And are you going to be using the bumper? Just an idea.

I think it is great but I also wouldn't pay that much for crib bedding!
Ooh I love it! Is there any chance you can put it on your registry or maybe grandma and grandpa want to buy baby bedding?
My mom bought our bedding set for us.

I would say pretty much the same thing. You can buy the items separately. The sheets you can find pretty much anywhere unless you are bent on that particular fabric. The bumper, which is the most expensive item, I would skip. more and more studies and articles are warning against using bumpers of any kind.
Personally, you like the whole package, I'd go with the bedskirt, the comforter and/or the blanket....you won't be using them both I wouldn't think at least not at the same time. Though I understand wanting them both if you are thinking the blanket for the summer and comforter for the winter. What else were you interested in? it all seems to have the pattern on it which may be over kill. Try finding stuff in the solid colors and use the print to pull it all together.
Cute!! But I agree with previous posters, I wouldn't personally spend that much. Of course- I don't plan on purchasing any bedding right away other than sheets and mesh bumpers. I, personally, would rather put the money towards other things- but that is just me. If you really like it, and can afford it, you should go for it.
I think that is pretty steep for crib bedding. Can you buy the items separately? Crib bumpers and comforter blankets are unnecessary.
IMO, spend the money on more practical items.

beddingis nice. But for $400 - it better be. You do realize kid sleeps in it for 1-1.5 years right. MAX 2 years. usually by 2 years kid hops out of crib. i wold never spend this much. we have a crib set from baby # 2 - we are reusing as serioulsy if it was $400 for a twin set or say a set that the child would use for 5+ year ok $400. It depends on what you can afford.
Some spend $2000 on a crib. I wouldn't. This is all a personal choice.
I think it's adoreable! I spent more than that on mine...and ended up getting a less expensive crib (the $180 or so Jenny Lind from Amazon)
FWIW, for those who say you won't use the comforter--all my kids (11, 10, and 6) still have their baby comforters (I'd be in trouble if I tried to put them away!), and used them on their toddler beds, too. The rest--bumpers and crib skirts and curtains...that you won't use too long.
definitely adorable and definitely has items that are unnecessary. If you cant purchase only what you need from that link then you can go to their custom design part of the site and recreate what you need and buy a la carte. and I would definitely buy crib sheets elsewhere to save.

you can buy that exact fabric at Joanns and have someone make a crib skirt for you for MUCH cheaper. It is in the home decorator fabric section and they routinely run sales so just watch for it.
baby can't use bumpers or comforters, so that's a waste of money, and you can get a crib sheet for much less elsewhere.
