The m sound is easier for babies to make so for a lot of kids it's the first thing they "babble". I don't count mama and dada as words or else E was talking at like 5 months lol.
Jacks first real word was 'dog'...so I guess I should have had a puppy?
Love it!
DH's first word was "sh!t" - not sure what that says about his younger siblings. Between "mama" and "dada," he said "dada" first and their next baby was a girl. She also said "dada" first and the next baby was a boy, who finally said "mama" before "dada" to MIL's joy. It's funny, now she pushes for Lily to say "mama" first so that I don't have the same situation she had.

I have actually heard this before and lmao when I heard it. My mom told me my first word was juice, so that is probably why I was the last, she didn't wanna take any chances
I think my grandmother was really just projecting, because when I told her the results of my anatomy scan, she said, "Oh. *pause* Well, there's still plenty of time for a girl!"

Grace's 1st real word was "cat," so I guess Luke should have been a kitty?
