Kitchen question (NBR)

DH and I are thinking about taking a trip to IKEA in Philly this weekend to check out some storage options for our kicthen.  I see on their website that they sell hardware for cabinets which we also need.  Do you have knobs or handles on your cabinets?  Right now we have nothing and I don't really mind it, but we're thinking about getting hardware, just not sure what...

    I LOVE IKEA!  We had one about 20 minutes away when we were in MD, so we were spoiled.  We currently do not have hardware on our cabinets, but personally I think it looks nice.  Not necessarily better, but nice.  Huge help right?  :)

    IKEA is awesome!  We redid our kitchen (literally tore it down to the studs and renovated it), and we need to put hardware on our cabinets.  I used to think it looked odd without it, but it works.  I didn't want to encourage the kids to be pulling on the drawers and cabinets.

    I wish we had an IKEA that didn't take a forever and a day to get to. I constantly drool over there stuff.

    We got our knobs and pulls for our bathroom vanity at Home Depot. They had a pretty decent selection. You can also buy a guide tool that has holes marked for different sized pulls/knobs. Takes the guess work out of where to put them, and makes everything look uniform on your cabinets.

    Any home store like Lowes and Home Depot also have good selections and may be less expensive. Even Target and Walmart now carry some too. Traditionally knobs were for cabinet doors and pulls ( handles) were for the drawers. This is what we have. But now days you see people do all knobs or all pulls too, do anything goes.

    We have pulls on both the cabinets and drawers.  They're probably not the ones I would have chosen.  I can't remember, do you have white cabinets?  If yes, then I'd definitely do something.  Even with pulls, I am constantly amazed at ho gross the cabinets get.
