A full day and night when I was induced that included a shower, then 4 nights post c/s including 2 more showers. For whatever reason, they didn't want me to shower the day after my c/s. I had to wait one more day.

I stayed 2 nights, had an afternoon section, and showered once. There was no way I was showering the first evening and it was on the list of things to try for the second day but didn't end up happening. I was having some issues with managing my pain (aka learning to ask nurses for my meds 30-45 minutes before I would need it because they were busy) and a lot of visitors. So, I ended up getting a shower on the third day just before leaving the hospital.
I also remember being terrified that it would hurt/sting with the water and soap. It didn't at all. It did hurt standing and making sure I didn't fall etc. I couldn't bend to get my underwear on, had to call DH in to help me with that. I also had a drain in place so that was awkward.
I was suppposed to stay for 4 nights(had c-section at 9:30 at night on Tuesday and didn't get moved to post partum room until after midnight.) I showered on Thursday and Friday. I had planned on showering again on Sat before heading home but wound up getting tranferred to CCU for complications.

I was there for 3 days and showered 2 times. The first morning I only gave myself a wipe down while sitting at the sink since my nurse wasn't around to help me and I didn't feel comfortable doing it on my own.
DD was born at 8:15pm on a Monday and I was out by lunch time on Thursday. The pediatrician released DD after 2 nights, but my OB wanted me to go ahead and stay the extra night. I think I only showered once, but it may have been twice. The showers at the hospital are tiny and the bathroom was a shared bathroom (with my roommate), so I preferred to shower once I got home.

With the babies I stayed 3 nights (scheduled), delivered at 7:30 pm and showered the following two mornings.
