Running....OUCH! Bra Recommendations?

Running a marathon next week....since finding out I'm pregnant, the biggest thing I was combating was fatigue...however, when I hit miles two today on a run, I literally had to reach up ad hold my boobs! OUCH!!

I REALLY  don't want to have to keep my hands on my chest for 26 miles! Anyone have any sports bra recommendations that are ultra supportive for pregnancy? My chest is not small, so I'm in need of something pretty heavy duty!!

Excited for baby #2!

  • Moving Comfort.  They come in cup size AND they have adjustable straps with velcro, which I used both to adjust the bra and as a makeshift breastfeeding bra!  Totally worth the money.

  • Wow, first of all congratulations for still running a marthon while pregnant. I found out when I was in week 5 of my half plan and haven't been keeping it up. My family and friends seem to think it's bad for me to continue. I know that's not true, but it's caused me to cut back. Ive only done five runs (3-5 miles) in the last two weeks. Are you doing anything different? Monitoring your HR etc?

Ps I like lulu's Tata tamers for support :)  GL!!!

  • Thanks! I've been training for so long now, I'm determined to do it! My origial time goal will not be met though I'm sure since I'm so tired!

A Lululemon's just opened here in Columbus. I will have to go check out the Tata Tamers today! Thanks!

  • Oh I hear you when I did my run this weekend I literally like you cupped them in my hands for a bit to give some relief!  I think I may try just doubling my sports bra tonight and see if that helps, it already keeps them pretty confined but ouch!

  • I just did a half, holy cow, I can't imagine doing double that!!! congrats!

Also, I LOVE Nike's sports bras, and I just buy them a size smaller. It's worked well for me!
