Never, ever thought that I would say that, but it was while I had having the section that it was discovered that I have a uterine septum. At the time the doctor thought it was small and unlikely to need removal, however just received ultrasound results that show that it goes from the top of my uterus to just above the cervix and will need to be removed. Now I'm so thankful for healthy pregnancy with DS AND the fact that he was breech so we didn't have to go through the horror of any miscarriages to find this out.
Re: So thankful for my c-section
Ok, I guess I have a few positives too...
- I am more willing to fight for myself throughout the medical process - which could come in handy during something more serious.
- I will be uber-thankful if I can have my VBAC. I definitely would have taken having a vaginal birth for granted otherwise.
