I gained this week. I don't think I did anything horribly wrong, per se, but I did probably let my portions get away from me. I've been so relaxed about everything lately, and I do need to make more of an effort to get the last 10 or so pounds off.
As for V-day, I'm sure there's chocolate in my future. I may have a piece, but I will definitely count it.
I lost a pound this week, woo hoo! I continue to struggle with working out enough but my eating is pretty under control and DH & I talked a lot about the foods we eat and are both on board with this new lifestyle so that helps. However, it does NOT help my grocery bill. Has anyone else noticed their bill going up? I don't think it's just us buying different things but I think it's prices going up, which sucks.
I don't plan on having any V-Day chocolates but I did make strawberry cupcakes w/ diet ginger ale in place of the regular ingredients. I took some to our DCP for her kids and Stella to have today but I will probably have one tonight. FF cool whip and strawberries on top, yum!
I really went for it this week. I only worked out Saturday and Sunday, but I felt really good about my eating. Stepped on my scale this morning and I only dropped a half a pound. I feel like something is wonky because of the breastfeeding. I'm really frustrated, and i nkow i just need to work out more, but it's really hard to see the scale stuck like that.
I actually lost a couple pounds somewhere along the way (I haven't kept track regularly), and I can tell the difference. Ironically, I am less hungry, which is interesting. I wanted to reward myself with a treat during Walking Dead last night but I wasn't really into it, if that makes sense.
I've been trying to do maybe 20-30 minutes on the elliptical, if not a whole 20-30, I do other things when I can, like situps, jumping jacks, stretching, etc.
I've been at the hospital all weekend with DH so I've been eating cafeteria food. They also have these really good white chocolate macadamia cookies that I just can't say no to. Luckily he is going home today so I will stop eating them.
I gained DH is only gonna be home for a few more weeks, so working out has gotten away from me & you better believe I am going to cook that man anything he wants to eat before he leaves! I'm still trying to watch my portions, but obviously failed. And my water intake sucked this week!
This week: water, water, water! And attempt to work out more than once!!
I am going to make a nice, healthy dinner on Vday... maybe salmon or cod? And I think I'm going to make chocolate covered strawberries for dessert. That way I'll get a taste of chocolate and a serving of fruit!
Kept with my goals; work out 5 days a week and only have 1 diet pepsi a day.
I only lost .6 this week... making it only .6 for 2 weeks. I am beyond frustrated. I'm bumping up from 1200 (myfitnesspal recommendation) to 1500 cals, even if I don't burn the 300 extra cals. I am starting to see a difference in my tush and my arms so I'm happy. I'm once again frustrated by my "twin skin" because I have been working my abs like crazy but they're covered in saggy gross stretched out skin. At this weight before babies I would have had a flat'ish tummy.
DH and I are having our 1st cheat night since 1/1/12 for valentine's day. I'm having pan fried dumplings and a brownie. I'm making him a big serving of spaghetti parm with homemade sauce. I have been fantasizing about it for weeks.
