We're Parents! (alternate title: Chessie has two mommies)

Hi everyone! I've only posted here a handful of times, so most of you probably don't know me. I am a shameless lurker but always felt hesitant to post over here because my wife and I aren't parents. Well... now we are puppy parents! We are still deciding whether to have human children in the future, so our little one is kind of like our baby for the time being.

We adopted Francesca (we call her Chessie) Elisabetta ____ - ______ (yes, she has a hyphenated name, lol) from our county shelter at the end of November, the weekend after Thanksgiving, and we've been falling more and more in love ever since!

I know how much I love looking at pictures of your gorgeous little ones, so here are some Chessie pictures for your enjoyment.

These first couple are from when we first got her and over Christmas.

These next ones are from last weekend. We live in South/Central CA, so it's warm enough to go to the beach almost every weekend. She loves to run around and explore, so that weird thing in her mouth is a sea urchin, in case you are wondering. Wink
