Re: Monday check-in
1. how are you feeling? good! ready to start working out again this week!
2. weekend highlight: celebrating A's 3rd b-day lowlight: i don't always love having both sides of our family together
3. what are you looking forward to this week: it's busy! we have new toys to play with today thanks to b-day presents. tomorrow i'm spending the day sewing with a friend. i'm supposed to pick up our ipad sometime this week. and thursday i'm excited to take A to her wellness apt!
4. V-day plans: we have 3 b-days in our family in the month of February. DH and A had their's on Saturday and mine is next week. between all the b-days V-day usually gets overlooked. so as of right now we have no plans. we also decided to put our credit card rewards to an ipad and agreed that would be a combined b-day/v-day gift for the both of us. so most likely that'll be it! although...what i would love to do is visit debrands for some dessert!
1. How are you feeling? Sleepy & Sneezy
2. Weekend highlight? Visiting my family in Illinois & eating a delicious home cooked meal from my Mom lowlight? Watching the Illini lose to Michigan yesterday
3. What are you looking forward to this week? Going out with DH tomorrow night - I don't care a whole lot about Valentine's Day, but I am psyched about not having to cook : )
4. Do you have anything special planned for Valentine's Day? Do you exchange gifts with your dh/so? We will go out to eat. We don't do big gifts, but I usually send DH some candy and a little note in his lunch and he typically brings me home some flowers...if he remembers : )
1. Feeling good! I think I have hung up my pump for good
I have more than enough frozen stash to send to daycare until he turns 1 next week (for some reason I am hung up on getting to that magical number). I may have to use the manual pump just for comfort but since I am weaning of Reglan I think my supply will drop pretty fast. I will still nurse at home in the evenings as long as that lasts. Connor is really resisting the sippy cup and doesn't seem interested in cow's milk, so we have some work to do on that end still.
2. Highlight: took the kids to the Pacer game Saturday and Jocelyn LOVED it. Connor did well too.
Lowlight: Feeling so anxious about trying to be the best mom/wife/homemaker/doctor but feeling like I'm not doing a very good job.
3. I have most of tomorrow off except a 7am meeting.
4. Usually we would buy gifts but we have both been swamped. I may try to pick something small up tomorrow and he will probably get me flowers and maybe gourmet chocolates. We're going to try to meet up for lunch too.
1. Pretty good. Not too excited about going back to work on Wednesday. I am sure it will be fine once I get into a routine though.
2. High: Celebrated my bday on Saturday. Low: I hate the cold weather. I was dying to go outside for a run all weekend, but it was just too cold for that.
3. Not much - have to go back to work on Wednesday.
I am worried about pumping and getting enough sleep.
4. Valentines day gets overlooked at our house since my bday is the 11th, but that's fine.
Ditto hating the cold weather and Good Luck with #3 - that's tough! Hang in there.
1. Feeling pretty good. 37 weeks along as off yesterday! Starting to feel (very!) anxious about delivery date, but not because the delivery- see lowlight.
2. Highlight: sadly, nothing really- I worked all weekend
lowlight: feeling overwhelmed and struggling with taking off before baby arrives or working until he comes. I had planned on working until he came, but work has been really stressful lately! Also feeling overwhelmed and anxious because of my early MS- part of my pregnancy plan is to start Avonex (my injection MS therapy) IMMEDIATELY after delivery, which is fine. The bad part is that it has really ugly side effects that had just gotten manageable after 3 years of being on it, and after not taking it for 9 months those side effects are going to start alllll over again. Just not looking forward to spending one of the best days of my life insanely sick with intense flu like symptoms.
3. Headed to the doctor now for our weekly visit
yay! Otherwise, just a normal work week.
4. We have never really been into Valentine's Day... One year DH sent flowers to work- that was nice, but we usually just enjoy each others company on the couch with movies and DVR'd shows
Sorry for the long lowlight! I have so much on my mind right now!
1. How are you feeling? Tired
2. Weekend highlight? lowlight? Very boring weekend. Slept and ate
3. What are you looking forward to this week? Celebrating graduating from bed rest and v-day. Trying for a low key dinner out someplace and talking DH into taking me to the casinos.
4. Do you have anything special planned for Valentine's Day? Do you exchange gifts with your dh/so? We never exchange gifts but celebrating the above
1. Feeling ready to get IVF started. I'm on lupron for IVF #4.2. AF should be here soon and then I'll schedule a start cycle/baseline apt. If all looks good, I'm starting stims next weekend.
2. Highlight- Several dinners out with Dh. Lowlight- ?
3. I'm looking forward to my start cycle apt. Everything better look good in there.
4.DH and I went out to dinner a couple times this weekend, so I doubt we'll go out for V-day since we don't eat out as much as we used since having to pay for IVF OOP. I imagine we'll have dinner at home unless he doesn't want to eat at home. I got dh a card and small gift and I know he got me something

1. Still nauseous. Please make it stop!
2. Highlight: Picking up the dresser for DD's big girl room. Quick trip to Chicago where we had some awesome Japanese BBQ and took DD to the Shedd Aquarium where she said "wooooooow" every time she saw a beluga whale. So cute. Lowlight: Nothing really.
3. A/S on Thursday! Hopefully we can tell you what we're having after that.
4. I got DH some truffles from Ganache and a card from me and DD. We're not doing a fancy dinner or anything because my b-day is in a couple weeks and my mom will be here to watch V for us, so we're going to do a really nice dinner then.
1. How are you feeling? Blah - think I'm getting a cold :-/
2. Weekend highlight? lowlight? Highlight - being on the cruise. Lowlight - coming home from the cruise to this cold cold weather and having to go back to work today after getting home at 5:30 last night.
3. What are you looking forward to this week? Not much...got a 4 day weekend coming up
4. Do you have anything special planned for Valentine's Day? Do you exchange gifts with your dh/so? We'll cook dinner at home tomorrow night. Sometimes he gets me flowers :-) Nothing big this year!
1. Very tired and slowly healing....but very grateful for having my sister here to help
2. High-Getting out for a quick dinner last night. Low- Stressing all weekend over DS#2 weight...Pedi scheduled a weigh in for this morning to make sure he was doing okay...Thankfully he gained 11.5 oz over the three days
3. Not much planned, we are just taking it one day at a time
4. No plans for Valentine's Day, DH will probably be working late. We usually exchange a nice card and probably a small gift, we don't make a big deal over V day.
Okay, so I am always a day late with this, but I am going to post anyway as part of my effort to be more involved on this board!
1. How are you feeling? Pretty good most of the time although I am starting to find working out really difficult. I guess that makes sense at 33 weeks.
2. Weekend highlight? Okay, so it wasn't really the weekend, but I had a growth ultrasound yesterday and we got to see LO again. He looks great and is still measuring big (88% and 2 weeks ahead of schedule). My OB scheduled another growth U/S in three weeks so she can keep an eye on his size. I am loving getting to see him so often! lowlight? DH was sick yesterday, but on the bright side that meant he was able to go to the U/S with me.
3. What are you looking forward to this week? My baby shower on Saturday. Hopefully I will feel more prepared for our little guy once I have a few more things off my registry! Plus, I get to see a lot of family that I haven't seen since Thanksgiving.
4. Do you have anything special planned for Valentine's Day? We don't have anything special planned this year since DH has class on Tuesday nights. I keep joking with him that we will eat our leftovers buy candlelight! Do you exchange gifts with your dh/so? We used to all the time and now it is kind of hit or miss. He usually either gets me flowers or a gift certificate for a massage. (We have a good friend who does them for a great rate!) This year I got him the new feather pillows that he has been begging me for since Christmas. I am so glad I waited to get them because I got a great deal on them ($20 for King size feather pillows that were regularly about $80).
I see, to always be a day late for these so sorry for that....
1. Feeling ok. LO has had issues sleeping and spitting up most and sometimes all of what she eats. We went to the doc last week and got a diagnosis of reflux and colick....
2. highlight, went to Hollyhock Hill for my parents 50th birthday dinner on Sunday. They both turn 50 this week. Lowlight: starting LO on zantac and seeing no improvement.
3.This week I look forward to the meds kicking in and hopefully seeing LO get some relief so we can all get some sleep.
4. Tonight we are cooking dinner together here at home. We already made arragnements Sat night to go do dinner at Kona grill in Carmel and LO is staying with my parents over night!!!
