This will be my first child. I'm wondering if anyone has a great pediatrician they can recommend. I'm due at the end of April and would love to take one more thing off my list

We use Dr. Jeth Salomon on 9th Ave N and 66th St N. He is really great, and supportive of "alternative" parenting styles (e.g. extended breastfeeding, co-sleeping, non-vaccinating, etc.). But he doesn't push that stuff on you! But if you are parenting that way, he's not one of those doctors that will tell you you are wrong about how you are raising your child!

Thanks so much! I actually just looked him up and his reviews are wonderful. I will certainly be contacting him. Another positive is his office is fairly close to our house.

Dr. Salomon and Dr. Bhumi were the 2 recommended to me by my midwife. I went to meet with Dr. Bhumi (Northeast Pediatrics) because it is close to my house and found out that she actually partners with Dr. Salomon and they trade every other weekend. So if you do chose one of them, I'd recommend just meeting with the other just in case you ever have to meet them during a weekend visit. HTH!
