I used the clearblue ovulation kit yesterday and got a negative and today no smiley face as well. I was wondering when should I worry about not seeing a smiley face. Two days into I'm not too worried but I was sure if anyone out there had used this opk and how long would you wait till becoming worried about not seeing a smiley face at all.
                 

TTC since 2012 

Dx : DOR

IUI #1 (Follistim switched over to Menopur injections) - BFN

Attempted IUI #2 (Menopur injections only cycle) better response on the Menopur then the Follistim combination treatment cycle however my cycle was still canceled due to my eggs not maturing and follicles not growing enough on a high dose of Menopur (Re said I could try a cycle of comid + ovidrel  for an IUI) for my second IUI( praying this works for us)

  Clomid + Ovidrel protocol worked still a BFN as a result

Attempted cycle  Clomid  + Ovidrel protocol for IUI # 3 (Unable to do this cycle due to a cyst)

IUI # 3 Clomid+ Ovidrel protocol - BFP    Beta #1 752  Beta #2  1536    Beta #3 3797

EDD 10/27/14

Our sweet baby boy arrived on 9/2/14 TTC # 2 Conceived without help- June 2015 July 2015- Miscarriage ( blighted ovum)
March 2016 (ectopic pregnancy) :(

    an OPK is only positive for a few days each month. don't worry test everyday and you will eventually get one when it's your time! I do one almost every day because I don't have time to chart or temp nor do I understand it so I just OPK except if I am on period. I have been testing for the last week but I think I missed my "O" time this month. Just getting over surgery so took a break and now starting to try again. These months seem LONG!

    See my reply in your other post. Also, are you charting? That could give you an idea on what days are best to test. I say this because not everyone ovulates on day 14 (I myself used to ovulate anywhere between day 18-21) So it could be you're testing too early.

    Be very careful to follow the directions on the CBEOPK - it's very personalized.  Like I said before,if I remember correctly you start 6 days into your cycle so that it can get a baseline.  You certainly should not expect to be O'ing that early.  Depending on the length of your cycle and when during it you tend to ovulate, you might start to peak around day 14 (or sooner or later - e.g., my cycles are crazy long and I don't generally O until around day 21-23).  The OPK has you start early in your cycle so that it can get a baseline of your usual levels.  Something would be off if you got that smiley face on day 1 or 2.

    At the risk of sounding like the broken record that is The Bump, there's a book called Taking Charge of Your Fertility that might be worth checking out to better understand these things.
