what does your bump feel like?

Hey ladies! I think I am starting to show my baby bump a little bit but I don't know for sure! It feels different than the bloat i've been having and it's probably a little harder. I've heard women describe it as feeling like a six pack, but I wouldn't say mine it THAT hard. I can also palpate my uterus about an inch or two below my belly button. So, I guess my question is how will I know when i'm really showing? What did yours feel like?

    I'm in the same boat right now! I've been so bloated but now my stomach is getting harder so I feel like the bloat is turning into baby bump :)

    I definitely have a rather large bump now! Mine feels firm. I wouldn't say it feels as hard as a six pack, but it is noticeably different than my stomach before pregnancy felt.

    My gosh.  I have baggage from my 9yr old over my current baby bump.  Mine feels at first mushy then if you press down hard.  LOL

    It's kind of like your stomach is a filled water balloon - it's definitely hard but not as rock hard as muscles (ie six pack). When I had a blump I could more or less suck it in and look just a little bit bigger than pre-pregnancy (I was never totally flat, but I was somewhat fit-looking); now I can suck it in a little bit but not nearly as much as before! I didn't really start to show properly until after my uterus passed the belly button a few weeks ago, though.

    Im 39 weeks, and I have to tell you, there are days that my belly feels harder than others, even now. While a baby belly will feel different than a regular or bloated belly, it won't always be super hard. 

    Just a little tidbit I thought I'd pass along. (bc the first time mine felt slightly mushy after being really hard, I totally freaked. My OB actually got a little chuckle out of it tho. :) )
