ALL right. I CANNOT get this fixed on my own evidently, any help you can offer would be great!! I have Fuzzibunz One Size Elite Diapers, I started using Charlie's soap on them about a month ago and they started repelling water....doesn't make any sense I know. I contacted Charlies, I contacted Fuzzibunz...I tried Oxi Clean for Babies, then I tried scrubbing them with Dawn, then Charlie's had me strip them so I washed them 5 times in HOT water with Charlies, that didn't work so I used RLR Laundry treatment...twice, now I'm trying soaking them in Dawn and then scrubbing them...and then Washing them on HOT with no detergent and still, they are repelling. I've never used dryer sheets and I've actually wiped my dryer drum down with vinegar and haven't used dryer sheets on any of my other laundry. I'm losing my mind. The detergent I used before was Arm & Hammer Free, which was great and then our little experiment with Charlie's has seemed to ruin everything. Can anyone help us so we don't have to spend all the money replacing these diapers!?!!? Thank you!

Re: HELP PLEASE!! Leaking problem
Do you use diaper cream?
Have you tried an overnight soak in dawn?
Charlies is on my hit list too, not for repelling, but for giving my son a chemical burn on his fanny. His bottom is still not the same and he's getting diaper rash SUPER easy now. It stinks.
We'll miss you sweet Debbie Girl (4.21.12) and sweet Cindy Girl (8.9.12)

I have never used Charlies but I can tell you I love Rockin' Green. I don't know if your water is an issue but I struggle with hard water. It was for sure making my CD repell so I get the Hard Rock version of Rockin' for hard water.
Oh that is another thought....are you using any diaper creams or anything?
Reading your post I am exhausted for you all the hard work you are putting in. Hope you find a solution soon girlie
Lite the PPs said,
What diaper cream are you using? if it is a diaper cream issue you will need to turn the diapers inside out get a toothbrush and dawn and scrub it out
For possible detergent buildup (which to my understanding is highly unlikely with charlies even if you have hard water) To strip, try washing the diapers on hot with calgon and no soap and check for bubbles. If you have bubbles repeat until you see no more bubbles. (4-5 washes)
are you sure the fit is right? 9 weeks is kinda early to be fitting into a one sized diaper. Maybe the elastic needs to be adjusted again, babies at that age change almost daily. :-)
