fetal movement at 13 weeks?

I will be 14 weeks pregnant on tuesday, this is my second pregnancy.  Today I was laying on the couch on my labtop when I got this really weird feeling in my lower abdomen.  It wasnt a cramping feeling it just felt like something was pushing out.  So I put my hand where I was having this feeling and there was a lump that was so small and then it disppeared as well as the feeling.  Now I feel like maybe the baby is moving around a little.  Anyone else feel this or am I just crazy lol.

ps. Im not having any bleeding.

  • You're just crazy.  Even if you were feeling baby, you wouldn't be able to feel it from the outside yet.

  • Since this is your second, you might well be able to feel the baby move sooner than a first timer, but I would doubt that you would be able to feel baby from outside your belly unless you have a very thin abdominal wall. Or you might be farther than you think???
  • I felt my first at 13 weeks. But it just felt like butterflies...not actual pushing. I don't think you could feel a lump from the outside that early, but who knows?! I didn't feel movements like that until I was about 18 weeks along.

  • I felt DD move the first time at about 12 weeks or so, the little bubbly feeling not pushing or anything, I didn't get into real kicks till about 16 or 18 weeks or so.

  • As far as feeling it on the outside, and a pushing feeling... I'd say that's gas.

Even with DD as my first child I did feel her at 14 weeks, but it was like a little fish wiggling, or like being poked with a pencil eraser. DH and I were able to feel her from the outside at 16 weeks, but even that was incredibly early.
