Hello,
For anyone who's interested in volunteering/donating/becoming a foster parent, there's a really good agency called Forestdale in Queens that provides alot of important services to children in need, including teen mothers and fathers:

Hope this is helpful.
Re: Queens' only child welfare agency Forestdale
They accept donations, too. And they are very easy to donate to. We called up and said that we had some baby items and clothing and they told us to come on over. It took under an hour from us calling to getting there dropping off and getting home. They then mail you an itemized receipt for tax purposes.
They take clothing in all sizes, not just kid and baby, as they have programs for the parents, as well.
