Weird pain ?

Yesterday I started having this odd pain about 1-2 inches below my bra line. It comes and goes, and it's pretty gosh darn painful. Any ideas of what this could be? I plan to call my OB Monday if it's still happening.

I don't know if it is too early to be this for you, but for me I have been having pain 1-2 inches below my bra line for the last few weeks. At first I thought maybe the underwire to my bra was bothering me.

What is turns out to be for me is that one of my babies has his butt right in my ribs. It is definitely painful! I generally feel better (or at least less pressure) if I lay down flat.

It might be a little early for your uterus to be reaching that high up yet, so I'm guessing it's just gas bubbles trapped in your chest. It feels like a sharp pain that stretches all the way across and lasts anywhere from a couple seconds to a couple minutes at a time. Try some Gas-X and see if that helps. If not, then call the OB and see what they think.

Thanks for your responses. I figure it's gas/indigestion/stretching/etc, but I've never read or heard about anything like this. And it hurts!! I'm curious what OB will have to say...

I started to get some discomfort off and on when I was around where you are with the twins. I think it was my bra being to tight because taking it off helped me! Especially if you wear an underwire. If bra is too tight you can actually get an extender from Motherhood for like $3. Could possibly be reflux too. That is all I can think of! Hope you get relief soon!!
