If you co-sleep but also send your child to daycare, have you had any issues with LO not wanting to go to sleep at naptime? My 2.5 year old will not sleep at daycare and not only that, she gets up and runs around or talks loudly. She is waking up the other kids. I was thinking about getting her a larger stuffed animal or baby doll so she'll feel like she's sleeping with someone??? Any other suggestions? TIA!
Re: Co-sleeping and daycare
I don't have any suggestions, since LO is still in the infant classroom, but he refuses to nap in a crib at naptime--he's never slept in one at home, so I don't know why they think he'll sleep in one alone at daycare...
I'll be watching for other answers since this seems like a situation we may need to have an answer to when he changes rooms in 4-5 months.

I have kids who nap great for anyone but me.
There's something about the peer pressure of watching all the other kids lay down nicely on their cots that helps.
Actually, DD2 has finally started going down easily for her naps at home within the last couple of weeks. It's been a struggle for a while though.
We only partially co-sleep. DD starts the night in her crib and then comes to our bed when she first wakes. She's been in daycare since 3 months, so she got used to having to sleep there early.
How long has she been at this daycare? What are the DCP doing to help? Ours will sit with the kids and rub their backs until they fall asleep. Would something like that help?

DD also naps great for everyone but me.
They usually adapt pretty well to different rules/expectations of different cargeivers.
