fetal movement

Around 14 weeks I felt movement for a couple of days and I just knew it was the baby and not gas.  Now t 17 weeks I don't know if I ever feel the baby.  Is anyone else experiencing this?  Is it just because it's still early?

    Yeah, it's still early and consistent movement that you can feel probably won't happen for another few weeks or later.

    Movement doesn't become consistent till about 23-24wks.

    I didn't really start feeling movement until 18 weeks, and it's just now starting to get consistent. It worries me when I feel her TONS one day and hardly at all the next, but I just have to keep reminding myself of how tiny she still is!

    I did not feel anything consistently until around 22 weeks. Even then, I felt much more around 24 weeks. I'm 25 weeks now and feel them nonstop!

    It is different for everyone. I felt her the first time at 17 weeks, and it has been consistent since 19 weeks.Some women swear they feel at 13 or 14 weeks others feel nothing till 19 or 20. You could always ask your doctor at your next appt. Don't worry!
