Clicky - How much CS

**Please do not post the actual $ amount you get**

My EX thinks the amount he was ordered to pay (which he doesnt..) is outrageous so I want to get a better feel on this. I know salary and COLA are also factored in.  

I don't want any drama in this post so only answer if you want. Thanks!

    He's not obligated by the court yet to pay CS, but I told him as long as he keeps giving me what he gives me I won't demand any back support. The amount the court will demand (done with state CS calculator) is about $200 less than what he gives me now a month.

    BD pays $189.00 a month... even though he hasn't paid it yet.

    Is this the amount they're ordered to pay, or how much they actually pay? LOL

    No, but seriously I did answer with how much he's supposed to pay. I will say he is over $900 in arrears, and that's just since he was supposed to start paying November 1. Don't even get me started on the back child support he owes.

    Here the amount of Child Support is 20% (for one child) of net income, excluding insurance (since that's pre-tax) plus the cost of insurance if the mom pays plus back child support+5%apr plus medical reimbursement if mom or baby had any bills associated with pregnancy or birth or the baby was just sick...all wage garnishment.

    The back child support minimum is determined by how much they owe. My ex started having to pay 50 when he owed 4K, but once it broke 10, it was 100, and it 25K, it was 200. The mom can request more.

    The don't take anything other than additional children into consideration when lowering the amount. I love Texas sometimes.

    I chose less than $300. I get very little handed directly to me in check form BUT (and this is a huge but) he pays for daycare which is quite expensive. He makes a lot more than me so right now this is what makes sense and we're both ok with it.
