Why did I just do that???

in TTC After a Loss
I plugged my EDD from my first loss into a website.  I would've started my 3rd trimester at 28 weeks tomorrow.  And/or I would've been 10 weeks along today with my 2nd lost pregnancy.  It hurt to see both, but really stung to see the first one going into 3rd tri.  Stupid...STUPID of me.  Broken Heart

    The best way for me to say why we do these things (well atleast for me) is that sometimes we think we are numb from all the heartbreak and we just need to do something to feel that little bit of pain.. just to prove to ourselves that we are still alive, still breathing, still here, being as strong as possible despite everything we have been through. You will get your rainbow baby one day, hopefully soon love.

    I'm so sorry. I don't know why we do these things to ourselves, but I bet most of us are guilty of it. Step away from the computer, QuigleyCat! Huge (((hugs))). 
    It was a rough road, but Arlo Daniel was born April 1, 2013—and our second rainbow is due October 12, 2014.

    BFP#1 12/18/10 EDD 8/28/11 | 2/14/11 discovered that our baby girl had anencephaly D&C 2/17/11 at 12.5 weeks | no O or AF post loss - Dx: AO + mild PCOS = secondary infertility Provera after 70 days = AF but no O | Provera + 50mg Clomid after 110 days = AF but no O 3 rounds of 100mg Clomid + Estrogen + Progesterone = mixed O results, all BFN hysteroscopy 1/6/12 - removed fibroid tissue injection cycle #1 - 75 IU follistim + ovidrel (triggered 2/9/12) + endometrin = BFP!     I used to keep a page on my phone with the "How far along am I" page... I would delete it quite often, but always found myself bringing it back up.... after I passed half-baked, I stopped going back - like it is just point beyond I could even comprehend.....

    This.  I do the same thing...just when I'm feeling good, I'll go to the May 2012 board and kick myself.  Not sure why, part of me thinks I'm a glutton for punishment.

    yes, glutton for punishment. i think maybe i do it to remember that at one point i really was pregnant, since I don't have much else to hold on to sometimes. sad but true :(

    I'm sorry Quigley! I do that all the time...it kills me to check on the March board so I don't. Even when I was on PAL, it was so hard to see those March mamas, especially because there is one with my due date. With my July baby, I never went to the BMB...it was almost if I knew it wouldn't work out.

    I am so sorry you are hurting.  I don't even have to do that bc my cousin's wife is due 3 days before we were.  It is such a painful reminder everytime she posts something on FB or the family starts talking about "the new baby."  You are not alone ((((HUGS))))
