Q for Medela Pump users...

The tubing for my pump is getting kind of nasty looking inside.  I have soaked them in warm soapy water, and tried cleaning them many times, but they only look worse. 

I looked on Medela's website but cant find where to order replacements.  Can I get these at Babies R us?  Where did you get yours??

    I got an extra set from the hospital so I'm not sure where you can buy them.  But when you wash them put them on the pump and turn it on and it will dry them, I found that this helps a lot.

     I think you can get them at Target, they at least sell the bags to sanitize the tubes there...I went on a long road trip and forgot the pump cups...so I made a mad dash to all stores in the area and Target seems to have the biggest selection.

    I would look online. There seem to be a lot of online places that sell medela stuff.  I know I've seen them on amazon.

    Call their 1 800 number. They have great service. Who knows, they may even send them to you for free. :)

    Maybe call the maternity wing at your hospital to find out where to get them?  There's one grocery store where I live (small town) that sells all the breastfeeding stuff.  The pharmacy there buys the tubing in bulk and sells it by piece.

    I put my tubing in the sterilizerbags and nuke for 2 minutes (Be sure to put PLENTY of Water) and then pour the water out of the bag and pull them out...

    I grab them in the middle and swing them like a lasso to remove all water that may have gotten into them- as I was told the motor on the pump is not "self-contained" meaning to much water will damage it...Careful when you do that as the plastic pieces at the end may hurt if you hit yourself!
