Finally got my appetite back. This entire pregnancy haven't had any cravings or a real desire to eat. Now I can't seem to get enough food.

Question of the Week: How do you plan to announce the birth of your child?

Intially I was planning on sending paper announcement through the mail but after the increase in postal rate I've changed my mind. I'm still buying postage for my thank you notes. After seeing various siggies on the boards I think I can create a decent email announcement. Plus I will be able to notify everyone soon after the birth.

I've had a horrible cold for the past week, which hopefully is starting to resolve now. DS has had the same cold & since he hasn't felt well, his behavior has been very difficult too. Rough!

DH will call our immediate relatives & close friends from the hospital. I'll e-mail an update & pic to everyone once I'm home.

Nothing really new to share just that the little moose is getting bigger every day and I am running out of room and getting rounder and rounder Getting the waddle down pat !!

Question of the Week: How do you plan to announce the birth of your child?

Not really too sure how to announce as we are away from family and friends but when the moment arrives I am sure it will all just be natural

Updates - I hit the 35/35 mark!! 1st tri crawled by soooooooo slowly, 2nd tri was a little bit better, and now 3rd tri is flying by! I have a feeling that in a couple of weeks, it will again feel like time is standing still, but I'm enjoying this for now. Last day of work was on Tuesday. Although I have many things to work on at home these days, I'm having a little trouble adjusting to this new life...

QOTW: We'll call immediate family right away, friends a little later (I don't want too many visitors while still in the hospital...). I'm sure we'll also send out some e-mails. I will mail out birth announcements a few weeks later, just because I always think it's fun to have pictures on hand instead of just stuck on the computer.

Still feeling pretty good, although I realized I need to give up on trying to eat large meals. DH and I went out for an early valentine's dinner on Sat night (b/c we're having a houseguest this coming w/e) and I had an appetizer, bread, entree, and half of a dessert. And my tummy hurt all night long after that b/c there's no room in there for all of that food! LOL Baby ELF was really active over the weekend but hasn't quite committed to being upside down yet. Hopefully she'll decide on that position soon, before she runs out of room to move.

Question of the Week: How do you plan to announce the birth of your child?

We haven't really talked about this yet. We don't live near either of our families, so no one will be at the hospital with us (other than our doula). I'm not really sure if I want to tell people when I'm in labor, or wait until after LO is born to let them know. I'm afraid if we let them know I'm in labor, we'll end up getting a million calls every hour asking how things are going. Because our families are annoying like that.

Calls to family and close friends. Email/Facebook announcement after I get home. I do plan on sending mailed announcements b/c I did it with the other two and many of my family like to save the formal announcement.

I'm feeling bloated, and slightly crampy... but that's about it. I'm nervous, and excited, and just full of everything... my first appointment is this week, and I was told I'll get an u/s. I can't wait! If things look good, I'll probably be telling the whole world at that point. It's so hard to keep it bottled in!

Question of the Week: How do you plan to announce the birth of your child?

We will most likely send out a bulk text message to family and close friends, then on FB.

New pregnancy symptoms or any that have disappeared?I am still feeling very good, though I can't fit as much food in my stomach in one sitting as I used to be able to. I am already adapting my eating smaller meals more often, so it is working out. I also discovered that I have crap aerobic capacity these days after I went for a seriously short and not too strenuous hike over the weekend. Question of the Week: How do you plan to announce the birth of your child?I will probably phone/email/text with close friends and family, then there will be the obligatory Facebook show-off pic and posting of the newborn with mom (this will be the first mention of child on fb for me). And finally, I really like paper announcements, so I will do those too.

Back at work today, so having to answer a lot of "Oh, still no baby?" concerns, etc. Otherwise, feeling great. Not in pain, energetic, healthy. Baby is still kicking, and has at least dropped some.
Question of the Week: How do you plan to announce the birth of your child? Calling the grandma's first, then siblings, and then social media and work.

Making plans to have maternity photos done. Will meet with the photographer this week and take them hopeully @the end of the month. Nearly 8 months - it went by fast. I keep saying how much this baby moves and it's starting to leave me out of breath

Like someone else said, phone calls to immediate family, text/picture message to friends, then eventually a birth announcement within a month.

My husband normally makes announcements on Facebook. And we also have our parents and inlaws who will make their own announcements. I really want to send out a birth announcement for our 2nd child. I did not get a chance to do it with my son, and it would just be nice to be able to do it this time.

Update- Just frustrated with how crappy I feel and how little progress is being made. Spent 2 hours in the L&D triage yesterday afternoon because LO didn't cooperate at her NST again. Really have had it with all this. Thankfully after Thursdays appt we will be scheduling my induction.

QOTW: We will call/text family and post on FB and send out birth announcements as well.

How are you feeling? Updates: Drained - this baby is getting heavy! Otherwise, I am feeling more ready now than I have before! Any events/news to share? Okay, my DH and I laugh at this because of how completely disgusted I was about the idea of me breastfeeding a child. I actually, for the first time ever, had the thought that I could breastfeed and be okay with it...this happened last week sometime. When shared with my DH, his reply was, "Developing maternal instincts, are you?" New pregnancy symptoms or any that have disappeared? Increasing nausea over the last 2 weeks with more pronounced restlessness throughout the day. Sometimes I feel uncomfortable on my own skin.

Question of the Week: How do you plan to announce the birth of your child? We will be calling the grandparents on the way to the hospital. My husband has all the important #'s in his cell phone for siblings, baby's godparents, my godmother, a few cousins, and a few close friends. They will be called once the LO has officially arrived! And then, we will send out birth announcements shortly after we get settled at home.

I've been very queasy pretty much all day, a little tired and i have a nagging headache at the end of this week (7). Due to the nausea I haven't been drinking enough so I think that's why the headache has cropped up... We lost our first one, so I'm happy to live with some nausea and headache!

I haven't decided how to announce the birth, but probably phone calls and then facebook & mailed announcements.

I'm feeling pregnant! I'm finally getting comments from strangers (which is a good thing) but I'm having trouble getting my shoes on and off now. The baby is breech, so I'm spending as much time as I can with my hips in the air... Let's hope s/he turns!

(Oh, and we're thinking about buying a new house and I just applied for a new job, so I'm kind of feeling overwhelmed at the moment too!)

Question of the Week: How do you plan to announce the birth of your child?

We haven't really thought about this... Last time, my husband called a couple of people and I sent out some text messages to close friends, then we eventually put it on Facebook and our personal blog, and a couple of weeks later we sent out postcards with her photos and stats. I'll probably call my family in Australia (parents, sister) and they can spread the word.
