Pretty bummed.

I haven't been feeling well for the past week, a lot of heartburn, nausea, tiredness, etc. We decided I should take a pregnancy test last night, and it came back positive. At first we were shocked, and then that quickly turned to joy and excitedness. This morning I tested again to "be sure" and nothing. No positive.

 

So now I am really bummed, and worried, and just overall sad. I know it was only a few hours, but my husband and I had talked names, looked at houses, made plans, etc. Now it seems like it was all a fluke. I know that the chances of a false negative are higher than a false positive, but somehow that isn't that reassuring.

    Aw, I'm sorry:(  What kind of test was it?  Pink line or digital? I'd try a different kind (brand, type, etc.) to be sure.

    I am sorry! That stinks. :-( I know that within a day of a BFP there are a ton of emotions and plans.

    I do agree with PP that you could verify with a third test or a doctor's appt.

    Thanks!  My  husband went out to get a few different tests, as he was pretty disappointed as well. We used a blue line test the first time.

    I'm sorry. Also, I know a couple of people who got false positives on the blue dye tests. I won't buy them for that very reason.

    Same exact thing happened to me last year.  I waited another day then took a 3rd test.  It was positive.  We kept all 3 tests, then eventually the 2nd one turned positive overnight.  Was a little strange, but I would definitely take a 3rd!
