How did you know you had it? How did they diagnose you with it?
My feet itch insanely bad. There's no rash and I can't think of anything new(socks, lotion, etc) that could be causing it. The itchiness is driving me mad.

I had a top 10 national record level of it on file lol the itching started in my hands and feet and became EVERYWHERE. no medeceine to cream helped, it was insatiable nad kept me up all night for weeks. they drew blood leves of my bile acid and induced me shortly thereafter bc of the risks. I hope thats not it, and your itching helps. it can be really dangerous so have it checked immediately, the bloodwork takes a few days to process. Good luck!!
ps. soaking your feet in freezing cold water numbs them for temp relief.. better than nothing.

I knew I had it because the itching was isolated to my hands and feet. After some googling it seemed pretty unlikely that it could be anything else. Luckily I had a doctor's appointment the day after it started getting bad and she sent me for testing right away. The following week we got the results that my bile levels were elevated and I was induced that day (37 weeks).
The risks to LO increase the closer you get to 38 weeks so you should notify your doctor right away of your symptoms.

Oh wow. I'm guessing the itchiness gets worse as the level gets higher? Thanks for the info! I have an appointment tomorrow and I'm going to ask about it.
