Pregnant after a Loss

Boobs don't hurt today and getting nervous

I know, I know, symptoms come and go. But I can't help but worry. Last time after I started to spot, before I bled, my breasts stopped hurting completely. I had an ultrasound last week that measured on track, but no fetal pole yet. It was ok b/c I was so early, but UHG. I have another ultrasound scheduled for Tuesday, but I'm going to be a wreck between now and then if my boobs don't start to hurt again.

Thanks for listening.

Boob soreness is not a reliable pregnancy symptom. Actually, very few things are (the only thing I can think of is movement after 28+ weeks, and even then babies have slow days), and in normal pregnancies, all symptoms come and go.

If you don't have any cramping or bleeding, then chances are great that everything is just fine and LO is growing.  And your boobs will probably be sore again in a week or two.

I second this! My boobs stopped hurting around 6 weeks and I was also very nervous, but then they started feeling sore again around 8 weeks. The tenderness only lasted a week or so and now only my nipples are sensitive.

  • I was so worried (to the point of tears) a few weeks ago because mine stopped hurting (around 5 weeks).  I saw the heartbeat at my appointment the following week.  It's totally understandable that you're worried, but don't be.  Wink

  • Mine also stopped hurting and even seemed to be smaller around 6 weeks. 2 weeks later they are not all that sore and only tingle now and then. Everyone is different, but I wouldn't worry. My u/s went just fine this past week, so I don't think boobies that aren't sore is a necessary indicator. Chin up =)

  • Thanks, ladies. Sometimes we just need others to tell us what we already know. I can't say I'm 100% at ease, but feeling better.

  • In the same boat...I freaked out last night because my boobs weren't sore when i was getting ready for work. By mid-shift they were a little sore again and it seems to be kinda waxing and waning. I'm pretty sure this is normal around 6-7 weeks. DH should enjoy being able to get some grope action without hearing "ow ow ouch!" for a few days ;) GL with your u/s and remember that today you are pregnant and you love your baby! :)
