I'm looking ahead to spring and I'd like to get M a new lightweight sleep sack. I've noticed that the toddler versions by Halo aren't made in cotton. Their lightweight toddler sleep sack is described as "comfort mesh" and it's polyester. There are some negative reviews on amazon saying people didn't like the material. Anyone have one? I can't find the larger sizes in stores, so I'm flying blind here.
Re: Halo toddler sleep sacks in "comfort mesh" fabric
My kid loves his, too. He associates it with bedtime, so I don't want to have to give it up! I'm looking at the ones called Big Kid sleep sacks in sizes 2T and up. They only come in fleece or this "comfort mesh." I can't find anything in cotton!
Oh no, this is not good news. Did you just switch to a blanket?

I was going to suggest these as well. Target carries them in the store so you can look at them to see if they will be the right size and feel the fabric.
My FIL managed to convince T to lay down and sleep under a blanket last year when she was about M's age. Maybe it worked because it wasn't me or DH trying to get her to do it? I would have thought she moves around too much at night, but she was content and didn't wake up freezing from the A/C last summer when we started, so it's doiable.
DS is almost three and is tall, and he sleeps in a cotton SleepSack in size XL. He doesn't have all the extra room at the feet he used to have, but it fits.
If you look at the Halo sizing charts, the height and weight recs for the XL cotton SleepSacks and the 2-3T Big Kid SleepSacks are pretty much the same. Both fit kids up to 40" tall. Do you specifically want the Big Kid ones for the foot openings?
