Connor's first birthday party is a week from Sunday It's in the middle of the afternoon so we're not having a meal. Other than cake/cupcakes I feel like I need to have a few appetizers. However, I don't want to put a lot of effort into anything (too busy!) so I'm looking for some easy, store-bought Sam's club-style options. What are your favorite go-to ready-made appetizers? It's an IU basketball theme, although I'm not sure that really matters - I'll take anything easy!
Re: favorite store-bought appetizers?
Oh gosh!! I can't believe he's almost a year already!!
Hmmm I'll have to think about some ideas and get back to you. We really don't do a lot of appetizers.
I have served TGI Friday Chicken wraps. I think that's what they are called!? There is a dipping sauce that you make with them: Sour cream, salsa and dry ranch. I'm not sure what style your party is but you can also make a cheese dip with velveeta and a can of rotel in the crockpot. I make mine with sausage added but if your on a time crunch it will be good without. I love making appetizers but these are the ones that I can think of that you can make quickly.
Sam's has a lot of great appetizers that you can just throw on a pan and heat up in a few minutes. My favorites are the mini quiches, minh egg rolls, and southwestern rolls. They also have deli spirals that you can just take out of the freezer and let thaw.
