Trying to Get Pregnant

Charting question...

I took Provera to end my last cycle and had a couple days of brown spotting (I would consider it more like brown, very light, flow) and then one day of red, very light, flow, and then pretty much nothing since.  I know the general rule is that the first day of red flow is CD1, but I am just wondering if it is different since it was Provera induced and just my body getting rid of the old lining after a long annovulatory cycle.  Should I count the first day of spotting as CD1 in this case, or stick to the rule and count the first day of red flow, even if that means AF was only a day?  Anybody else have a really light period after Provera?  I was just happy to see anything at all, but maybe I jumped the gun???

Me: 27 DH: 32
TTC since 10/2011
Off BCP 10/2011
Cycle 1:110 days-Provera ended
Cycle 2:57 days-natural AF
Cycle 3:96 days-Provera ended to begin first treatment cycle

7/12: Provera+50mg Clomid+Ovidrel+TI+Progesterone=BFN
8/12:50mg Clomid+Ovidrel+TI+Progesterone=???

Count the first day of red flow as CD1.  It's OK that your period was technically one day.  Sometimes cycles that need to be ended with Provera can be different than what is the norm for you.

Ovulation is what controls the building of the endometrial lining and when ovulation doesn't occur, your lining doesn't really have a chance to grow.

I never had light periods on Provera.  They were pretty much like normal periods for me.

    GL!

Thanks Linds.  That was kind of what I thought, but just thought I would check!
