some of you ladies recommended the website that tracks the weekly routine, for building up to half marathon/marathon.
Would you please forward?
Also, some of you mentioned how you don't actually "run" the half marathon before the actual marathon - you just run up to about 10 miles. Is there any article regarding that? Or why is this what you should do?
I'm trying to forward all this info to a friend from work.
Re: Runners - what's the website for 1/2 marathon
Is this your first half? I used Hal Higdon's novice half training program when I ran my first half. You top out at 10 miles as your longest training run.

Daisysle is a crazy runner - and I mean that in a good way. She's freaking phenomenal. So I know she hasn't slowed down a bit in terms of distances she's accomplished while pregnant.
I ran one half while pregnant and trained for another that sold out before I could sign up, but both were in my first trimester. After that I scaled back on distance because I slowed down and I only did 5ks. And I did my last 5k at 28 weeks because I hated being one of the last people to finish. If you don't mind being slower and having it take longer I definitely think a half is doable - especially since it's not your first.
I think that if you run regularly, you're probably already good at listening to your body and making sure you don't push yourself too much. I ran every day up until the day I was induced, I just found that I couldn't run as fast. I had to bring water with me, even on short runs because I found myself being more dehydrated. Some days will be better than others.
