High blood pressure = hospital stay for me

Week two in a row I've had to come to triage to monitor my super high BP...and tonight they've decided to keep me for a minimum of 24 hours

I will be 37 weeks on Monday... Any predictions on what could happen?

No predictions from me. I understand what you are going through. I was there 2 weeks ago. I'm on bed rest now. How high was your blood pressure? Are they saying anything about pre-e?

BP was 144/104 and protein traces were in the urine ... They haven't said the words "pre-e" yet but its only a matter of time. Just wondering if they'll induce or put me on bed rest or what... I'm a nervous FTM

For me they monitored my blood pressure every 15 minutes and also monitored the baby while I was in the hospital. My blood pressure was 154/106. It came down and I've been on bed rest since. She did tell me I was very close to delivering that day. I go to doc appointments twice a week where I get ultrasounds and a nst. I have to monitor my bp at home. As long as everything stays ok I will be induced at 37 weeks due to my mild pre-e. oh I also do a 24 hour urine every week. I'm a FTM and I know it's scary. Just talk to your doc. They will do what's best. Keep us posted!

The bolded parts are my experience as well. I am back to weekly appointments for now. I think it varies depending on your BP, family history and how your baby is doing. GL!
