Starting today, I have to start taking my bp 3 times a day. My question is: When should someone go into L&D for high blood pressure? For instance: Is it 150/90 or higher? She never really told me... and I forgot to ask.

Re: Blood Pressure Question
Pre-pregnancy I was something like 115/60. I've been getting 140-160/70-80 for the last several months. She told me that she is not concerned about the top number, but I should head to L&D if I get 100+ for the bottom number. High blood pressure is typically characterized as baseline+30 over baseline+15. So if you are generally 120/60, then 150/75 is considered high, but not necessarily cause for L&D. If you get a high reading, lie on your left side for a while, and check it again.
To get the most information/reassurance, call your Dr, or very least, the nurse's desk, and find out what number they are specifically looking for in your case.

This. "High" is relative for every person. H's regular BP would freak my dr. out if I got that reading. (I've always been a 120/80 kind of girl, while he goes as high as 160-170/70-90), but because its his normal BP, his dr. doesn't seem to be concerned.
