Asking for thoughts and prayers

On behalf of my niece born Monday, February 6th. She's been diagnosed with severe port wine stain on her legs, trunk, and face, with it covering about 3/4 of her face. Apparently this is something that happens to 3 out of 1,000 babies, and it's thrown my brother and his wife into a tail spin. All of the tests have been normal so far but they're still waiting on a few more that will take a few weeks. So please send some positive thoughts their way because they're needing it more then ever these next few weeks as they meet with specialists.  Thank you!

    I know that it is of little comfort right now, but I grew up with a girl whose face (and body) was about 3/4 covered as well. She is a beautiful, intelligent, fantastic, successful lady.

    T&P to your family. I wanted to second these sentiments. A former student of mine wrote about being born 3/4 covered and how it affected her life. She is a bright, vivacious young lady.
