Babies R Us or Buy Buy Baby?

While I'm not ready to register yet, I've been giving where to register some thought. We'll be buying the big stuff (crib, glider, changing table) ourselves and would like to register at one location.

Between Babies R Us and Buy Buy Baby which would you recommend based on price and selection of products, customer service, etc?

    I went with Buy Buy Baby and am very happy so far. My SIL had a lot of problems with Babies R Us.

    I have only heard good things about BBB and only heard complaints about BRU.

    i LOVE BBB however BRU is much more accessible to everyone. i have no complaints with BRU (which is who i registered with), i just love BBB stores- the layout, the products, the workers, etc.

    Same here, but I've been to BRU to buy baby gifts for multiple people and have never had a problem.

    I liked Buy Buy Baby more, but ended up registering at BRU and target. I really can't stand BRU. I can never find someone to help me and it always takes FOREVER to check out. The one good thing is that if you sign up for a rewards card you get points for everything anyone buys off of your registry. Thanks to that we've received over $50 in BRU rewards that we can use to buy whatever we need.

    BBB is much better!! Same owners as Bed, Bath & Beyond, they take Bed/Bath coupons and also price match, even with amazon.com!

    I registered at BBB, amazon and Galt Baby.

    Because BBB is not everywhere like BRU we registered at both. I know lots of people have complaints about BRU but so far I have been more than satisfied. I somehow had multiple registries and they helped me take care of it and link the rewards to the correct registry. Also I received something from online that is not sold in stores but they took it back in the store without a problem (they said this is a recently changed policy). The people at BBB are FAR more knowledgeable though, so you could also just create a registry there so you can learn about the products and then use BRU if you feel it is more convenient for your family/friends.

    The fact that you can use Bed Bath and Beyond coupons at BBB is a big plus BUT there are a good amount of restrictions. Also BRU will give out 20% coupons (there are two coming up starting on the 20th) every now and then so it's not a huge difference. Based on what I got at my showers, way more people went to BRU. One bought solely online from BBB and one person went in. Everything else off that registry we picked up ourselves.
